Hardwoods, each treated with an Oil-based Finish
Although there are many products sold as outdoor decking, only Naturally Durable™ tropical hardwood combine longevity, rot resistance, hardness, natural beauty, and class A fire rating. Tropical hardwood decking is available in a variety of natural colors that can be maintained with penetrating exterior oil finished specifically designed for hardwoods. If left to weather without a finish, all hardwoods weather to silvery gray. Standard thicknesses are ¾" and 1" actual and standard widths are 3 ½" and 5 ½" actual width.
Most all of our decking products are thoroughly kiln dried to insure that the finished decking will not check and split in service. There are many species of naturally durable hardwoods suitable for decking. When properly dried, they are very hard, stiff, and stable with variations in moisture content. Class 1 durability tropical hardwoods are extremely resistant to fungus and insects.
All of our Outdoor Decking is S4S E4E and milled with strict quality control standards. We carry both smooth and anti-skid surfaced material, and can also provide custom milled material if project specifications require specific a pattern or non-standard dimension.
